Best friends for 45+ years, they pride themselves on being just a couple of fun-loving regular family guys who think they are comedians and love hanging out with friends and family. Why do they call themselves Mayhem? Wherever they go, the mayhem of laughter and shenanigans are sure to follow.

Meet The Mayhem

The Mayhem Brothers have one goal, Save the Datil Pepper from being lost to time and commercialism! They want to bring the amazing Datil Pepper to the world, one sweet and tangy bite at a time. They want everyone to cultivate this incredible pepper in their own backyards, regularly post tips and proven techniques on social media to grow the best datil plants. The Brothers also happily answer loads of questions with expert guidance to the everyday Datil Pepper grower.

• Guided by a "Datil Done Right" philosophy- "A rising tide lifts all ships," we are committed to increasing worldwide awareness of this remarkable pepper. Rooted in that theory, we partnered up with companies who have developed some amazing Datil Pepper Products using our Mayhem Datil Peppers. • Experience- We strive for everyone to cultivate the finest heirloom Datil Peppers imaginable, whether a large commercial grower or backyard gardener. We happily leverage our 12 years of experience in assisting anyone wanting to grow this ornery and fiery pepper. We succeed when the entire world experiences the wondrously unique Datil Pepper for themselves!

• Awareness- We love to talk Datil to anyone! We promote the datil pepper to a diverse range of individuals, including both those who are already acquainted with its fiery allure and those who are yet to discover its distinctive flavor.

• Respect- We approach every interaction with respect, fostering a sense of datil camaraderie among all those we encounter. Our aim is to instill pride in the rich traditions of Florida agriculture and cuisine, connecting people with the vibrant heritage deeply rooted in our region.

• Dedication + Hard Work + Laughter = Team Mayhem- We each have 45+ hour a week jobs, then enthusiastically dedicate 30 hours weekly tending to our Mayhem Datil Pepper Farm. Every day we answer numerous emails and social media questions/comments about Datil Peppers. We also produce all social media promotions and ship all your datilicious purchases in-between. Thank goodness for our friendship, we work arduously but laughter always abounds, and the achievement makes it all worthwhile to Save the Datil!

• Visit the Farm- We invite you to our 100-acre farm during harvest (July-Nov) and learn more about this amazing pepper. Our Minorcan culture, heritage, and culinary influence are unbelievably important to us, and we hope that you will join us in helping save the datil!
