Why do we sell out each year? We only grow true heirloom datil peppers on our 100-acre family farm - owned and operated since 1883, so there is no chance of crossbreeding or hybridizing!

We grow as many heirloom datil plants as we responsibly can.... When they're gone, they're gone! Last year, quite a few folks had to wait unit November before we grew more. It is just too hot mid-summer to start them. Do not let that be you in 2026!

So, Beginning March 9th, we are spreading out pickup locations to make it easier to get these beauties into your garden.

Choose your location to pick up:

1.  Mayhem Datil Pepper Farms, (by appt only) March 9th - they're gone (or all pre-ordered)

2.  Hot Stuff in St Aug – Saturday April 11th 11am – 2pm

Once the order is placed, you will receive an email confirming your order and location. If you choose a farm visit in Pomona Park, please put in NOTES, what day works well for you. We will contact you to work out the details (we’re not always available).

At pick-up, we will have your name, plant quantity ready at your chosen location. Email us if anything changes!

IMPORTANT: we do not ship live plants. Please do not select shipping at checkout. Plant order placed with shipping selected will be refunded as a mistake!
